The animal characters above (and left) are the original characters that Carowinds used for 1973 & 1974. A new cast of characters greeted the kiddies with the addition of Hanna-Barbera Land in 1975. With that addition, more familiar animal characters roamed the park such as the Banana Splits, Fred Flintstone, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear and others. | |||
