The Witchdoctor was basically an Octopus style ride or Monster. This popular ride was originally located in the short-lived Indian Thicket ('73-'74) area which was incorporated by Country Crossroads in 1975. The ride was relocated to Pirate Island with the addition of White Lightnin' in 1977. It was repainted and moved to the old Surfer location and renamed Black Widow, where it resided until 1989.
